Well, I'm sold on the new gulp baits. Went out
with my uncle this morning for some fluking.
Got out around sunrise and within a few minutes
I boated a nice 19" keeper. Not even ten minutes
later, I landed my personal best. I was using a
1/2oz white andrus bucktail and a new penny gulp
shrimp. It measured 28.5 inches 9lbs. 14oz...

Nice fish!! Used them for the first time last week and had good success.A little pricey though.
Paid around $5.00 for five and the fluke tore them up fairly easily

Alright.....So whats a gulp shrimp? I thought it was a typo and you meant gulf shrimp...like regular shrimp from the gulf of mexico ...the kind you eat. Obviously these are something else if there $1/ea

They are 3" artificial shrimp made by berkley.
Most tackle shops carry them now. There are
pictures in another thread I started yesterday.

Thanks guys...I'm still pumped. It blew away my
previous best by over 4lbs.
