We have received calls and e-mails regarding the bankruptcy sale of Hydra Sports to Mastercraft. As a Hydra-Sports dealer, here is what we have currently been told:
The bankruptcy judge has approved the sale to Mastercraft. Closing is scheduled for Thursday, January 21.
Mastercraft will be moving all the molds and tooling to their plant in Vonore, TN over the next few months.
There are few 2010 models that were built before the sale, but after the move is complete it is Mastercraft's intention to begin production on 2011 models later this summer.
Mastercraft has assumed the warranty coverage on all boats sold provided the boat is still within the warranty period.
Hydra Sports will be on display at the Atlantic City Boat Show, February 3-7.
