I had the pleasure yesterday to join my good friend Bobby Fillet on a Charter out of the Highlands. We fished on a 38' Henriques Sportfishman. We left the dock at 5:50 am.Capt Pete took us to a spot and we bailed the Bass for 2 solid hrs. and we were the only boat on them.Nothing big but the rods were bending. In 2 hrs the six man charter caught 40 Bass. All Bass were caught using Clams.Capt Pete kept saying guys as good as it is it's going to shut down so enjoy.Sure enough the mad dog bite died.

Capt Pete said guy's we have alot of time to fish so do you want to jig Bluefish or go Fluking ? We all decided to go Fluking hand's down and boy did we make the right call.We took 5 long drifts and bailed the Fluke. The six man charter had 100 Fluke of which 24 were keepers.Bait of choice was spearing tipped with a Squid Strip. It's a good thing we all had our rain gear because it never rained.A great time was had by all.

I just hope the Fall Bass bite is as good as the Spring bite was.Now it's time to focus on the Inshore & offshore Bite.Going to book some trips soon.I will keep you posted if I have a spot open.

I fished with Pete earlier this year with the same success. He is a true professional and puts you on fish. Nice boat and highly reccomended!!
