I was just wondering what I could include in my jornal that I want to keep for the upcoming season. Should I be really detailed. as to the wind tide time of day. maybe sombody can turn me on to a good format that I can use. I will be fishing backbays/rips off jetty's and docks for flounder stirper and weakies thanks Guys your're always a help.

I've been keeping a journal for my striper and drum fishing for the past 4 seasons. I think it is invaluable for some very basic information. Temperature us one. Time of catch in relation to the tide cycle is another. Bait used and even the size and shape of bait is very useful. Then it's weight and length and that is it for me.

I'm going to shoot over to the tackle box and see what all the hubbub is about.
