How hard is it to install new rollers on a trailer? Are there any tricks to this?? I'm replacing 32 of them. Capt. Ahab:confused: l

The hardest part is getting the rings back on.

They make a large Ring pliers for them, similar to Hog ring pliers, but you can get away with a large pair of adustable pliers.

DO NOT reuse the old rings.

Get a large heavy duty screw driver and leverage the outer ring off.
Take off the Washer and pull out the roller and replace.
put the washer back on and then attempt to install the new ring.

I think they are called D rings. If you can get a pair of the D-ring pliers, it will make life alot easier.

Price on the poly rollers are $ 8.50 ea.
Black rubber rollers are now Dinosaurs, polys are so much better.
Let me know how many you need.

8.50, great price, i paid over ten bucks each aroud here last year. have a drill and when the rings break off you can just redrill the holes. if you need and of the old black rollers i have a bunch you can have, some are even new. but the poly are def. the way to go if you can spend the money for them. bb
