I was going through the fishing reports thread a couple of days ago and e-mailed "fishenough" with a question about the seal he saw on saturday. How is this for irony? It turns out he is an old friend of both my wife and me from grade school!!!
It was great to talk to him last night, my wife and I were just talking about him the other day.
It is a small world indeed. I gave him an open invite on my boat. It will be good to see him again. Fishenough (Nick) is a genuine "good guy".

Weird... but cool. Here's on for you. My brother was in the coast guard years back. He was stationed in Shark river, then alaska, then hawaii, then seattle... everywhere he went, he met someone that he knew from NJ or had a mutual friend. He ended up engaged to a girl from our home town... he met her for the first time in seattle.

I meet my girlfriend in math class last year in wash twp. Turns out we both went to wildwood our entire lives in the summer, and she was my neighbor. Never meet her before though.

Jamie...did you get my email? You want to get out one day this weekend? Let me know -Phil

Jamie it was great hearing from you. That was weird. I will take you up on that invite. I remember that day you helped my Mom and Dad out years ago. You are a great guy and to hear you are married to Adrienne is great. Two quality people that deserve each other. I'll be in touch soon.

Thanks for the kind words, Nick. I was just thinking about that after I hung up the phone with you. Every time I drive in the winter with the window part way down now I think about your dad. I hardly ever got sick, but as soon as he warned me that I would---I did. Old Italian parents...Priceless!

Phil, If I am not too busy, I'll stop by today. I am still watching the weather for this weekend. I may take my older son fishing on Sunday if the wind lays down, but at this point it looks as though Saturday is out 10-15mph w/ gusts to 25. I may stay in. I will be in touch though.
