Hey all. Some friends and I try and get away once a year to a new fishing region. This year, April 1st we are flying into San Jose, Costa Rica, they driving to Jaco Beach. Los suenos resort is rite next door. I was wondering if anyone has fished there, and if so maybe the name of a good boat or guide. Thanks for the help and any tips you can give me!

I can't remember our captains name - he was from Australia or South Africe, but married a local girl and moved there...he constantly worked the teasers from the helm...he always had the lines in his hands and he'd jerk them to put action into them...all the other gear and tackle was pretty standard

Scott does a great job...he hooked us up for trips to Panama, Guatemala and Cabo, too. He'll put together the whole package for you.

P.S. The town of Jaco gets pretty wild...it's crawling with hookers and pick-pockets...be careful!

I am going on april 19 to the Jaco/ Playa Herradura(?) area. I am looking for the same information as well.

I was hoping to fish from a panga or two for roosterfish.
