It feels good to get that money out of my pocket.Hope to get to slip early this year.I cant wait to see how much gas i burned when i drove boat from utches in Cape May to Philadelphia.Hope to save a lot going back with the soda blasting getting done soon.Twin 350's and could only cruise at 17knots at 3400... and i bought new props last summer. No mechanical problems slowing me down just hope its that 20 years of paint on bottom.Anyone else have success after years of buildup and then soda blasted?

When your paint starts coming off when you paint it is a good indication. If you scrap the bottom with a paint scrapper and it takes a lot off and you can see the boat through, its time. From painting your boat last season Kevin, your almost there.

I cleaned my bottom this year, you can feel the difference.I have to re-prop this year because now my alarm goes off because the motor has more speed and rpm's.
