This was a great show featuring 3 on board Hobie Outbacks catching marlins from Los Cabos... did anybody catch it???

I saw it swampfox. It looked like a blast! One view showed a Marlin jumping right next to the Hobie!!!
I watched it. My father has been wanting to do this for years now. EXTREMELY dangerous. Billfish have never struck my interest. I like light tackle fishing.
that looks intense. anybody up for tryin that on some whites?
I dunno. For me, the essence of kayak fishing is self-launching, no-mother-ship supported, fishing.

I didn't see the show, but any of these "go out in a mother ship and catch giant fish while you're filmed" trips I just categorize as stunt-fishing. Fun? sure if you're into it, but from a kayak-fishing standpoint... doesn't interest me in the least.

Just my opinion... carry on :D
Saw the show. I 'm still wondering how the guy from Sport Fishing got into his kayak with no swim platform. He's a little large like me . Thought about our tuna fishing here could be cool :D
The next step is to pull a bonito ar small tuna for a big blue or black :)
I caught the show as well. It was pretty good. VS chan has a whole line up of kayak stuff coming up. I'll have to find the email, but I'll post the schedule soon.

Im with you i rather catch a 18in bass on light tackle then a billfish on a yak.
