Here's a sad note from Scott's B+T: :(

On Monday, June 7, my dad passed away after having one of his most perfect days on the Great Bay. His name was Ken Hohing, brother of West Creek Charlie (Crocked Stick),the legend of Graveling Point, Uncle to Ted Renner and Wayne Sule who both based out of Great Bay Marina for years. He was known and loved by fisherman from the beaches of LBI to the backwater of Brigantine. He fished the bay passionately every year of his life and has left a wonderful legacy for those who knew him. He spent his final day fishing the bay with me, his son, catching over 75 fluke and ended the day at 1:00 with 16 keepers with a 17" minimum. He even popped a few blues one last time.
He died carrying his cooler of fish into the yard that afternoon. We are all overjoyed that he spent his last day on the bay and that he found his resting place outdoors under a blue sky next to his catch. We should all be so blessed.
Services will be held this Friday from 10-11:30 at Earle Funeral Home in Blackwood, NJ with a luncheon following at noon at Adelpi's. All who knew him or would like to honor a man who loved our bay with a passion are welcome. Donations to the Recreational Fishing Alliance in leau of flowers.
Thanks Scottie,
