my wife and i went to the keys last week, our first trip with no kids in 10 years. had a great trip!

had a great afternoon trip with this guide,desperado

we got hooked up with him third hand eating breakfast at the STUFFED PIG on marathon key.

we caught ,yellow tail, grouper,grunt!! vern even caught half a fish !!!!

going out tomoorow night for tarpon!!! in islemorada!

made it home!! we had a great time fishing in the keys. fished 4 days with 2 diferrent guides. lanny woodbury in marathon on fri. and mon., dave sisung in islamorada (out of bud and marys ), with lanny we caught yellowtail,grouper,blue runners,lane snapper,muton snapper,black tip shark 200 lbs. !!!, 38" cobia!!!! with dave we caught trout,mutton snapper,lane snapper,nurse shark,verna had a blast catching a livewell full of pinfish,plus i got my first ever TARPON!! 100-120 LBS est.!!! verna got some great pics too!!!

i can't wait to go back!!!

also caught a 200lb. blacktip shark but vern did'nt get a good shot of it, it cut the leader at the boat.

some pics at bud&marys marina!! the tarpon are always hanging out there!!

awesome pics! I'll be going to the keys for the first time in mid august. I was wonderin if you could give me an idea of what types of fish are around at that time. Those pics got me pretty excited!

ICK, august there should be plenty of tarpon,snappers,trout, grouper,permit,marlin,dolfin,SHARKS

KEYS, that is Dave Sisung my guide,it was 70% and blowing 20 mph. he was FREEZING! HAHA!!! he has a real nice boat though.

twister, i am using kodak DX7630 6.1 mp. had it set on beach scene mode,at 6.1 mp. that shot was taken at about 50 yards.

Great photos! Love the tarpon shots. I've stayed right there at Bud n' Mary's and saw all those resident tarpon that hang under the boats. Fantastic in the Keys! Glad you had a ball.

supa, NO FISHING OFF THE DOCKS!!! you would likely be shot and run out of town!!! those fish keep the marina clean, and keep the torists coming back!!!
fin, i think next year, i will stay there also,planning on takeing my 3 boys and stay in the room above the store! the kids would have a blast hanging out at the marina!!!
