Well I know it's not what most of you guys are into here at TheBarn but....

Fished the upper Maurice River yesterday (Fouser road ramp) for Largemouth and ended the day with 2 in the 2.5-3lb range. The water temp was 37.5 and the right bait was a black/char 4" Slider worm with a dead stick type slooooowwwww presentation. Nothing spectacular but nice to get out in the air/sun for a day with my bro and was jsut the right meds for cabin feaver.

Won't be long now!

Fished the Upper Perkiomen Creek on Fri. Caught 3 big rainbows on bead heads. 18", 17.25" & 15.5".
Then went to Valley Cr. on Monday Aft. & caught a nice 12" brownie on the same nymph.
I saw on the news that the water temp. is now 40.I can smell it. Putting my beach tags on tomorrow.

Nice job on the fish guys. Me the way I burn the winter cabin fever is by reloading ammo and shooting my Dan wesson 445 supermag. I love it. Its a blast :D pun intended. Ever since I got hooked :D on saltwater fishing I haven't been freshwater fishing in a long time except I did go trout fishing one year about 2 years ago. But its not long now guys spring is just about here.

Good job pulling those early bass out Mike. The lakes are just about turned over sooooo if you wanted to you could fish um in a week. I'd go with a red shad worm with an 1/8 oz slider head and slooooow motion. :D
