My Korker studs seem to be a bit worn down and starting to rust. Just to be safe this year I am going to replace them. I have the replacement studs and the tool that I saw being sold with the studs. I guess what I need to know is do you just force the old studs out? I know this may seem to be a simple thing to do I just wanted to be sure I am doing it right. Any advice would be great. Thanks.

The 1100's you gotta pop out.I did mine with a screw driver but if you've got the tool it makes it easy.Let us know how you make out.

I will try it with a screw driver with a big flat head. I think the tool I got is to help force the new ones into the sole. I did check You Tube and found one video and the guy was using a two prong tool with a screw driver type handle. It got around the old stud and he forced it out.

He used water to flush the exposed hole in the sole and to help force the new stud into the hole. I though I read some where on the Barn to use WD-40 to help force the new stud in. Not sure if this would keep it loose in the hole, possibly spinning. Would I leave myself open to losing the stud during use if I used WD-40?

Question on Korkers-- I have the boots with the switch-out soles that you can go from regular boot to felt... etc.

I wanted to get the sole replacement with the rubber sole and metal spikes. I can't find them anywhere, and I like to support a local business over a website if I can.

what's the deal, are they discontinued, or do they just not work? If you guys have any advice, I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks!
