Good for him He clearly deserved it and is now the best angler in the world at the moment in my book.![]()
I wanted Ike to win but when it came down to Kriet and KVD I really wanted Kriet to get.KVD is a great fisherman but I wanted to see Kriet win it. I really felt he deserved it and I hope that next year either Kriet or Ike take it.
How was the expierience Leon? I plan on going if it ever comes back up this way again. Are the deals really that good at the different booths and shows?I m with you on that Z and BD. I just got back in town from the Classic and let me tell you, it was phenominal. I got to sit right by the stage where the angles come on and walk off and it Kreit's face was twisted when KVD won. Steve Kennedy and I were sitting together and he even sat down when the crowd was going crazy after hearing KVD's weight. I think a lot of people were pulling for Jeff. I was even proactive and had the Very nice yound ladies at the Longhorn Booth hook me up with a Kreit Hat and Shirt so he could autograph it for my son. LOL
I know he finished last but let's not forget about Darryl West in the Megastrike boat. He was the only angler to make it to the Classic thru the weekend series. Kudo's to him for being able to fish amongst the greatest in the world
You probably met a lot of interesting people out there. Sounds like a really good time. lol those pictures need to be shared, Tim get on that.It was a great time BM but we were very busy. There really weren't great deals but some of the vendors hooked us up and we would hook them up with products. We got a lot of exposure and I got to chill out with some awesome people. Dave Mercer from Facts of Fishing is a nutt. We hung out and took some crazy photos together. Can't let those leak out or they might make it to Twiiter Space LMAO
It is def/ something that you should experience if you ever get the chance
