Had an unexpected day off work so I figure Lake Audrey was worth a shot. Got there at 2:00PM but was greeted by ICE. The whole lake was covered. Still good to get out there and observe the scenery.

I took a walk dowm to my favorite fishing hole but it was iced over also... I thought with the temps up around 50 i might get a few casts in.

I feel bad for all you guys. Yall have been dying to fish this lake and it has been locked up with ice ever since it opened for fishing. It will get there sooner or later though:thumbsup:

The road to the ramp area is open. It's off of Mauricetown Causeway (look for the big yellow gate down the roadway). There's no official ramp yet; just a piece of shoreline where the ramp will be that you could probably launch a boat from if you have 4-wheel drive.

The "ramp" area is getting pretty beat up with people driving back there and the ground being wet from all the rain/snow we've had. I think once people start launching boats the area is going to get worse with the water run-off from the trailers and 4-wheel drive is going to be a necessity.

about 2''... it might be clear by the rock(quarry) ... i will try to check it friday
