this week looks to be out but maybe by next weekend. The problem is the warm water can make its own weather when it pushes up against the cold water. Last year it was flat calm on the 50 line and out in the deep it was 12 foot in the end of may.

From what I know they made it out, it is sloppy inside, but once outside its just a large swell, they took off around 9am yesterday, someone should be posting a report soon.

we turned around yesterday.. unfortunately it was more than just a big swell.. it was blowing 15-18 sustainted out of the NNE until 7pm right on the beach.. i brought the boat up from cape may to barnegat light, that's why it's not at south jersey.

had we been leaving from barnegat light originally, we probably would have fished. out of cape may it was on our port bow, from barnegat light it would have been on our beam, maybe even a stern quarter...

no big deal, the best is yet to come... that doesn't mean i don't wish i could fish today into friday...

bob on the fish trap was supposed to leave at midnight to try.. hopefully he got out if he tried.. when i went by little egg there were breakers across the entire inlet..
