hey guys been looking at all my fishing spots i plan on hitting this year an just came along with the idea of trying up around the long island area. seen some jetties on the Google earth at long beach looks like might be some good surf fishing. i figure its just as far a ride as it is to go to cape may for fishing area might as well try surf fishing up their also with the yak would be nice. once the bunker move in during spring will give it a try up their plugging an live lining. if anyone wants to tag along some trips shoot me an email. also if anyone has any good input on this idea let me kno

I've done very well in Barnegat Light. Open beach, the old submerged jetty, the south jetty, the inlet, the bay, there are so many different areas to hit it's hard not to go there for me.

LBI lies right in the middle of the striper coast. Need I say more?

good choice coming to lbi. i believe there were around 30 30+pounders taken in the derby last fall. there are a lot of big fish around. you just have to put in your time. i hear the two ends of the island are the best

lbi is a great place to fish. been fishing there for over 18 yrs. i live in the ne philly area. if you want to hook up let me know. i will probably be fishing there alot this year. no ibsp pass again. lmk
