of the fish that are marked on the fish finder...Can you name some of the line counters that you used... having trouble finding ones online...Thanks

I think most guys try to count the line on the way out on their own.
Not exact but alot of guys are pretty close at guessing the line going out.
I bought a small clip on your rod line counter at Dicks made by berkley works pretty good for $20.
I'm sure there are others out there but it can be dropped over pretty easy so for $20 its the way I went.

we spool reels with marked color coded line.
you count colors

line is marked every 25 or 30'

makes it easy to determine depth

I remember counting out arm lengths to get baits down for chunking, not the most accurate, but you go with what works. We stock line counters in our store and we also offer the Accudepth line from Daiwa.
You can also check out our online store for Line Counters:
Here's the Berkley one

and here's a Rapala lighted one.

Line counters can make all the differance.... especially while getting bait to a specific depth. I can see the metered line being good for jigging, thats why I had it spooled. For typical tuna chunking, deep dropping, planer fishing etc... the line counter is the way to go.... I plan on using mine alot more this year.
