I don't think my boat will be going in this season again  it's tough to weigh the cost of putting in a slip to the amount of use i will be able to use it what sucks is this is the 3rd season she'll be on blocks.
Fished great bay yesterday, nats are out. 1st drift got a solid 22"er, hit that spot for a few more drifts and pulled 1 more 20" out of it. Moved to the icw since I didn't see anybody there but only got a few 15"ers. Went to the ditch on the flat and only got 1 but it was a 24+"er, back she went w/ 2 men on board. Went where we started(the marked channel) w/ wind against the tide for 1 more fish at 17 7/8ths. Trolling motor caught the last 2 w/ wind against tide. We were the only boat movin out of the 3 that were left.
Rain was just a drizzle most of day and never really rained. Wind was picking up in afternoon maybe 10-15 out of the west.
Still small baits for us, 4" fish bites shrimp caught every fish. Biggest fish was on the bucktail w/ a fishbites shrimp. You used to not want anybody see you with a net but nowadays just a fish flopping on the deck is enough to get ya mugged.

Found flounder Friday and Sunday in the normal Spring spots. Lots of grass which made it difficult. Any caught Stripers mostly 19-21" with one at 24" under the dock lights hanging out with the white perch.

Finally got out for a fishing trip on Monday, hit a reef for some seabass and found the blues so thick that I couldn't get a jig to the bottom. I did get down once and caught a 19" knot head so I kept trying he was a true black beast but could not duplicate. I did try another wreck on LER but no bites. Went to great bay and used a chartreuse bucktail with a bluefish strip and caught a few shorts and a nice 20" fluke. Ended the day with 3 tailor blues 1 seabass an 1 fluke. I like catching blues but I really wanted some bass. Great day, great weather!!!

Had the seabass for dinner and I will take it over flounder any day, I have to go with BSB as my favorite all time eating fish.
