Spent a beautiful morning and a chilly afternoon fishing in the land of overpriced sand castles and fewer public parking spots per capita than any province in the land.... ended up with the same score as my last trip to Graveling Point ... No run-offs, no hits, no errors... couple skates left on. We were slingin clams.

That's so they can have their own private Jersey beach.

Do you remeber when they tried to ban fishing on the bridge? Someone built a house next to the bridge, then tried to get fishing banned so they wouldn't have to look at the fishermen. They didn't win, but they made sure you can't park close the bridge.

I used to fish the rock wall along the main drag that leads out to the jetties in the summer (is it OK to post spots where you DON'T catch fish?)... in between that really cool house with all the docks and the condo complex... never really caught anything there but the parade of morning walkers in spandex was just not to be believed!

Now that's a report!

I was jetty fishing at cape may point last year and caught tons of herring while watching some lifeguards frolic on surfboards in the early morning. I have very fond mammories of that day.
