Give Capt. Dean Panos a call (
www.doubledcharters.com)
He is one of the best in the business; he offers a split trip with sailfishiing in the afternoon on the reef's edge (he will throw up the kites and get you on sails, mahi, and march is great for big blackfin tuna the last couple of hours of sunlight), and then push offshore 30 minutes or so and (almost guaranteed) put you on some mighty fine eatin broadbill

:fighting:
Lots of good Captains down here, and this is not a plug for Panos, BUT if you don't want to risk wasting your hard earned $$$ on a boat ride, Dean's your guy, plus his rates are more competitive than the larger sleds.
If on the other hand you have enough guys to round out a 6 pack...check out over/under (barn sponsor) or the guys at canyon runner (ditto) who both i believe are running bigger sleds out of sofla.
Good luck, and post em up.
Tight Lines,
Frank
Barners, I could use a few recomendations for a captain in Ft Lauderdale.
Im heading down mid-late March (20th). Also, I'd rather fish offshore. Can I expect a swordfish / sailfish bite?
Thanks Phil
