I live in the west creek area (NJ) and I am looking for a used 12- 16 foot flat bottom skiff. Fiberglass, with or without engine, centerconsole or not. I do a ton of bait fishing and have a great dock location in our area for back crick, mud sucking, bait finding boating... just need a flat bottom boat. If anyone knows of or has one of these give me a shout either on this thread or at [email protected]

I don't have a skiff but I have a question for you. What was the name of that wax/cleaning system that you said you used on your boat?

ahhhhhh rick..... u are lookin for "Poli-Glo". They have a website, just google it spelling it the way I did above. The kit comes with the cleaner, scrub pad, applicator poli-glo liquid (final coat)
Once u clean the boat.. u just apply the glo with the applicator horizontally by wiping. It dries almost instantly. I put up to 4 coats on my whole boat... just apply, there is no buffing. If you want I can meet up with u in the spring and show u my techinque.
The poli-glo just wears off by the end of the year and u wash the boat normally thru the year and the same at the end of the year. But u must use "poli-glo's cleaner in the spring.

Bob, you can use my 16 beater anytime. My neighbor who moved to FL left his skiff in my driveway. As long as u get it before March 18th, I didn't see a thing!

I have a great little skiff for you!

I have a 1964 boston whaler 13 that has a 1974 Johnson 40hp that runs great I just rebuilt the carb. Its at Cardinal Joes shop if you come to check his 16 whaler out. Its all stripped down right now but I can put back together. It has a great trailer and good tires. I was going to paint her up and make it all custom but I can finish however you want or make it a commercial whaler out of it and do it cheap. If your handy and you want to finish it up I can sell it that way to. Its located right in egg harbor township.Let me know if your interested. Its not waterlogged pretty light.
