Looking at choosing between these 2 models to set up as an electric only boat. The 1455 model seems to have the pedestal seat adapter too far up to the front to be able to effectively operate a bow mount foot control trolling motor and have space to stand in front of the seat. The 1655 seems to be set up much better up front but is bigger than I need and weighs quite a bit (around 650 lbs). I also want to be able to launch off of shallow ramps and be able to access shallow water (1 ft or less). Anyone have experience with these boats for these applications?
