single engine plane exploded over a development and crashed in woods north of 72. 4 dead.

it was just on the news , North of Rt. 72 near the Beach Haven West area, 4 Dead , all from the aircraft thats all I know so far , evidently was either on fire or exploded in the air.

Plane exploded in Mid Air just off of 72 according to Action news...4 people dead.

I briefy heard something about this from a family member stating that the Stafford Police were all over that area,but didn't hear anything official...

This morning driving down the Parkway I saw two very small planes flying low around the GreatBay/Mullic River area that caught my attention...

We are getting sketchy info her at school, apparently there are peices of the plane in shoprite parking lot on 72, and the Shell station seems to be a central locale for all the search ops. A little too near the school for my comfort!!

Nightstrikes,Those two planes that you saw near the Mullica were applying larvicide to the marsh for mosquitoes. Normal operations for us in mosquito control.

drove by it this morning on 72 around 11:30 did'nt know what happened. thought it was a car that crashed into the woods but only saw some small pieces. couldnt see much, blocked by fire fighters and cops.

I think that larvicide has made me a bit crazy over the years.
