Well, it was certainly a shock when I pulled up to Avalon Pointe Marina and saw that gas was $3.72 per gallon. The Avalon Anchorage was at $3.59. Just getting to expensive to make those long runs for so little fish.

I keep my boat at Deebold's Marina in Brigantine and his gas price Labor day weekend was still under $3.00. I'm sure when he gets refilled he will have to raise it, but I do appreciate the fact that he kept his price as low as he did for us that boat and fish in taht area.

Gas... I got gas about 2 weeks ago at Riggins by the 9th street bridge in OC, it cost me 3.10 a gallon, the kid had to use a calculator b/c there pumps could not go up that high. Last weekend I got it at All seasons, and honestly I expect worse. I paid 3.69 a gallon.

Party Boat fares were on the rise also because of it...
