Fri-Sun Report: Fished out of Solomons each day from Hoopers light up to a tad south of HI

Nice day on the water we had a 45" (33lber) and a 42" (28lber) and missed one off the boards. Tough day clearing jellies and trash from the lines. We hit a tideline twice that was loaded with grass and crud that put junk on all the lines.

Beautiful day, calm and sunny. We had a good day. 45" (32lber), 43" (30lber), 41", released a 38" and released three 36 inchers that came on a triple header off the boards.

Started nice but then the wind really started to blow and it was rough rough rough. We didn't get our shot while the weather was calm. Made the long slow troll home in the slop from Hoopers light to just below HI. About a mile and half south of HI in 48-55' of water is was gangbusters with baits and fish marks like crazy. We just couldn't keep the boat straight and the speed right with the heavy wind and chop. We pulled the hook on one that may have been decent and managed a skinny 42" (22lber) and 39" (18lber) and called it a day around 3:15pm as the wind and waves were getting really nasty.

All in all we had a blast and a good tournament! I've heard the fishing that last two days has been epic. Ready to go again haha!
