repowering with a new optimax. this motors compression readings are as follows 1/130#,2/134#,3/130#,4/127#,5/128#,6/127# motor runs but needs work rpms were in and out from 4000,wot to 5200,wot took it to a backyard marine mechanic?? to have carbs rebuilt only to get it back the same 6 weeks later.last straw was when i winterized it there was water in lower unit. Good parts motor or fixable for someone who has the time.Comes with top mount controls and wire harness.$450.
