Took a last minute WELL NEEDED trip to Montauk with a buddy. Fished a 48' non sponsor. Had 9 guys on board. Tons of fishing room. Left at 5 and got to the grounds around 7. Fish started coming over the rail around 8:30, then died till about 12:30 when it was drop and reel for a good hour and then a pick here and there. My friend and I had 14 keepers each (only keeping 10 each). We were high hook. Nothing big. All fish were in the 7-10lb. range. Big Frmales are not in yet. Pool was about 12lbs. Taken mostly on clams, but I did manage to grab one on a 16oz. hammered diamond jig. Teaser color didn't matter, but I was using the 3" holographic pink Tsunami squid and they seemed to like it. Ocean was flat. Great day and great boat! Cod cakes baby!

Great to hear.

Was Captain Burt at the helm???

I got a group of four of us that are supposed to go up tonight and fish tomorrow (but the latest forecast does not look too encouraging).
