Mooring bars for pilings

I need to get some poles that you attach to pilings to moor your boat. The ones that let the line go up and down with the tide. What are they called and where can I get them. Also, could I use stainless steel or will that cause problems with electrolysis?

I think most marine stores sell them at the shore. West marine used to sell them. I have also made them out of galvanized pipe /spacers and lag bolts. This is used for a smaller 14 foot back bay boat. It is not heavy duty. Although with the right tools I am sure you could make whatever is needed for a heavier boat.

You might want to contact GW welding (Barn sponsor) about them. He had them on display at the boat show in A.C. back in Sept. and they were really
nice quality.
