Well I decided to go again today and scored on another weakie also about 8 lber 28-29 incher. Then the weather got nasty and I left after about 1/2 hour of fishing.

Hey I might not be able to catch a keeper striper but I am nailing the weakies.

All fish are on high outgoing tides. Once the tide drops too much the bite slows way down. So hit high tide and the first 2 hours after high tide and have fun.

I just bought a shimano sustain and these weakies help broke it in. What a reel. Love it.

Good luck out there.

Oh wanted to point out that I released the weakie today. I didn't want to take another breeder home so She went gently home again. Hope she spills millions of eggs for the future.

Hey thanks guys.

Yup I used the pink finS fish 5 3/4 with white 1/2 ounce jig head. It seems important to be near the bottom of this whole I found to get them with any consistancy. I tried a lighter jig head of same color and had no luck. went to the heaver one and scored. I also worked them slowly and I mean slowly just to keep them from hitting bottom.

good luck out there guys.
