Whelp, the boat is winterized and ready to be pulled. Our marina requests you winterize at the slip, then they tug your boat to the lift well, lift you out, power wash while your hanging then set you on block and stands. I don't even need to be there. They should pull her this week. Will be going out on my brother in laws 24' boat for some striper fishing this fall.

Luckily, my brother in law has a trailered 24' cuddy. We've taken it up to Raritan Bay a couple times and were in them thick. We trolled and were landing doubles and even landed in a quad catch. He went out Thanksgiving day and limited out.

The boat is due to be splashed the first week of April, but I will be away on vacation in Ana Maria island Fl. I asked the marina to postpone, but they said as long as all the seacocks are closed like when the pulled it, they will splash, tug it to the slip, tie it up and put on my shore power and make sure bilge pumps are on, that way when I get back home the boat is in and ready for me to start getting here ship shape. This month we are patching one of the engine covers, doing a little bottom paint touch up and installing new raw water impellors before she splashes. Will then run the motors while she is in the water, warm them up make sure everything is A-OK then change the oil in both motors and do a proper tune up on each motor to get her ready for the 23' season.
