Me and my dad are thinking about going fishing on the mullica river in a 14' boat with 15HP motor on back and a trolling motor.....Good idea or no? Know any good places to go in boat? If Mullica is a good place to go...Any suggestion with fishing spots, ways to fish, and anything else...thanks sorry if a pain!

Troll(perfect for that small boat) or cast the banks all along the river between the Parkway Bridge and Bass River and beyond towards the bay. Not in the middle of the river, along the banks and especially pay attention to areas with cuts or small creeks dumping into the river. We always pick up some fish this way on the way home from the bay/ocean. Usually small stripers/bluefish. Bruce at Chestnut Neck should be able to help you out with lure selection and point you in the right direction. This is a good bet assuming by your post you dont want to do the bait thing.Good Luck!

Chestnut Neck exit 50 0ff the Parkway. You can only get off going South. Follow the ramp around and make your first left hand turn. Good people, get your ramp ticket and make sure you leave it in the windshield of your vehicle. They are strict about that, and you cannot blame em. One of them guys there is the fish cop. A good guy, but still a fish cop.

Stll Bass in the lower river between Green Bank & Lower Bank last week. Troll drop offs with 1/2 oz lead head & 8" white grubs very slow. Green shad bodies with firetails work well also. Watch out for snags!

15 per person. Chestnut neck is great, had my boat there, but there is also a free ramp up river a little bit that might be closer to home. Can't remember the name but its right near sweetwater casino. About a 20 min trip (nice trip) to the PW bridge in that boat.

Sorry to report, Crowley's Landing is no longer free. $5 as of 5/28/05 Hey Perchhead, do you fish at all for them? They are my favorite...
