I've fished on the Sundancer out of Little River, SC. (just above N. Myrtle) a number of times. They run open boat trips bottom fishing offshore at the edge of the Gulf Stream, maybe 10 - 12 passengers om a 40' boat. I caught many nice fish...grouper, snapper, dolphin, kings, etc.

My friends and I chartered a boat out of Little River and we had a blast wreck fishing. Red snappers, grouper and sea bass. It's been a few years and I can't remember the name but I think any boat in that fleet can accomodate you.

Just sold a second home right down the road from that place...never stayed there but passed it many times and it looks like a very nice resort. Just in case you're interested, here is a good guy out of Little River:

Best inshore fishing is just south of there out of Georgetown into Winyah Bay. Catch a lot of Redfish. Let me know if you want any info on that area. TeetoSeaFishing out of MI is one of my buddies. You'll have a fun time on his boat. Not sure what you're allowed to keep bottom fishing. Just about everything is shut down. Capt. Englis on the t 2 sea is good for bottom fishing, King Mackeral trolling and last year tore up the Cobia, I think around the time you're coming down.
