I am trying to figure out if a Navionics Fish'N Chip will work with the navionics gold+ sd cards.
Any help would be great. I cannot seem to get a answer through online research. Any real world experience would be very helpful. Thanks again.

Lowrance lcx 38 c-hd and lcx 26 c-hd. The units are running the newest software.

I have Raymarine they use CF cards,when I bought my Navionic Chart they also sent me the Fish’n Chip,on a CF Card,,
I would say if Lowrance use SD Card,and your Fish’N’Chip is on a SD Card it should work with no Problem

Make sure that your plotter has multiple slots. My northstar only has 1 slot so I can only use my navionics chip. My humminbird has 2 slots so I can use both the fish n chip with the navionics chip.

You can simply replace the nav chip in thr slot with the Fishn chip when you are in the ocean. It will read it automatically. Change back for nav info. All waypoints are on the machine not the chip.

I check for updates a few times a year. I believe the last one I did was last spring. I will have to check to see if there is any newer versions out.
I heard that you could possibly use the Navionics Platinum charts with the software upgrade. Any truth to that , or just a rumor ?
