I got an email from the sales people at Shaelterd Cove Marina (a Wellcraft dealer). It sounds like they have several new (09) 35ft Scarabs that they are pretty anxious to move. It seems like you can get a heck of a deal on a boat these days.

Dante.

If the current boat doesn't work out there is a 2007 35 EVERGLADES that is like new and was a repo from a dealer that can be had for under $130K thats a steal of a deal!:)I dont know what electronics it has but regardless a great deal.Just remember it's a buyers market and dont rush into anything.

Dante, my best advice is to get whatever you come to an agreement on surveyed by the best surveyor you can find. Even new boats need to be surveyed.

A good buyer's survey will tell you what you need to know about the boat and its machinery. The survey results will also likely provide the basis for a further price reduction to cover your costs of fixing whatever the surveyor found.
