Book: On the Run


There is this great book about a man who chases stripers all over the east coast. He starts his journey in massachutes and ends in the caralinas.

Red, it an excellent book, but been around for a little while now. I really liked the "skishing" part. That got my attention real quick.

I read it in one sitting - a classic.

The latest is Striper Wars - an American fish Story by Dick Russell.

I'm on the third chapter - great read and I've learned some interesting things about our beloved striped ones.

I've read this book as well and enjoyed it. Skishing made my kayak fishing at night sound totally reasonable and safe!

Not exactly a new book but it is a good one. Dibenedetto has become editor of one of the fishing magazines (Salt Water Sportsman I think).

What a great read, I would recommend this book to everyone. Its a tough one to put down.

while it is a great book - IMHO - if you are gonna pick up a new book get striper wars - dick russell first.

I have read them both - and the both belong in every striper fisherman's library.
