Birds Heading South Just Off The Beach....
You are in a great spot you can go north, south or even fish the bridge. Most people fish anywhere from morrisons to the inlet you will find fish there, but once you get comfortable with the area you will be able to find other more quiet places. If you go north the sod bank of oyster creek hold alot of nice weakies and bass but again the traffic will kill ya. The best fresh and live bait will be found at Tony's Bait and Tackle on east bay in Manahawkin. Fishermans Headquarters is another shop they have good hours and just over the causeway up on the right.
Welcome to the Barn! I agree with fatdog, check out Tony's B&T on old 72. Great bait and great guys once you get to know them (or I should say, once they get to know you!).
If you have buddies who know the area, it's probably your best bet to learn from them. The bay can be very tricky! Where are you out of, mill creek?
