No more herring fishing
A friend who know's a wco told me jersey may ban herring fishing this year. Dont shoot the messenger. Just repeating what i heard.

What are you guys complaining about? How do you expect the foreign fishing fleets to load up on our herring if you're not going to cooperate?

The whole state is 10 herring per day per man.

What a great day on the Miss Belmar.Great job Capt Alan and crew. On the fish all day. 50/50 Macks and Herring. 3/4 filled a 162qt cooler by myself. Over 300 fish!!!!

I think they are diff. herring also not alewife or blueback like we get in the freshwater but I'm not positive.
