No more herring fishing

A friend who know's a wco told me jersey may ban herring fishing this year. Dont shoot the messenger. Just repeating what i heard.

WOW??? I heard PA put a limit on em but this would be aweful!!!!

Yea Thats what PA did!!Thats a per angler limit I think.When the bass are runnin hard that won't last long!

What are you guys complaining about? How do you expect the foreign fishing fleets to load up on our herring if you're not going to cooperate? ;)

The whole state is 10 herring per day per man.

check out the mackeral thread in offshore. they filled huge coolers with mackeral and herring the other day

I think they are diff. herring also not alewife or blueback like we get in the freshwater but I'm not positive.
