See Obamacare Repeal Fails: Three GOP Senators Rebel in 49-51 Vote

7/28/17

”Three Republican senators — John McCain, Susan Collins and Lisa Murkowski — and all Democrats voted against the bill, dealing a stinging defeat to Republicans and President Donald Trump who made repeal of Obamacare a cornerstone their campaigns.”

Well, look at the voting record of the 51 who voted against a mere “skinny repeal” of Obamacare, and it vindicates our founders’ refusal to grant power to Congress over the “social needs” of the people within the various United States.

The sad truth is, our founders warned us about the dangers of factions and why they avoided granting power to Congress over those objects which “…in the ordinary course of affairs, concern the lives, liberties, and properties of the people, and the internal order, improvement, and prosperity of the State.” See Federalist Number 45.

By limiting our federal government’s responsibilities to such matters as war, peace, the regulation of commerce with foreign nations, i.e., ___ those items which are enumerated beneath Article 1, Section 8, Clause 1 __ our founders avoided the danger of creating countless factions on a federal level by denying power to the federal government to meddle in the social needs of the people within the various states, and they intentionally left those matters within the jurisdiction of each state and people therein.

But now, with this separation of powers having been breached by Congress and countless “entitlements” having been unconstitutionally created to satisfy the personal economic needs of the people within the various state borders, our national unfunded debt liability is an estimated $125 TRILLION, while our free cheese factious groups account for The Largest Item In The Federal Budget!

Have we not witnessed our federal government being reduced to a state of paralysis brought on by countless free cheese factions whose interests have nothing to do with our federal government’s constitutionally assigned duties? And who are some of these factious groups who have cause a paralysis in Congress? Federally subsidized health-care recipients; federally subsidized food stamp recipients; federally subsidized Section Eight Housing recipients; federally funded unemployment benefit recipients; federally funded student loans and grant recipients; and millions of foreigners who have invaded America’s borders who are also the recipients of free government cheese. These are just a few of our nations free cheese factious groups who have brought our federal government to the brink of bankruptcy.

If we don’t reverse our federal government’s tax-payers vs tax-getters redistribution policies, we will surely suffer the same fate as Venezuela, Chile, the UK, and other socialist countries which, instead of protecting the people’s inalienable right to succeed or fail at their own hand, have decided to use government force to steal the product of one person’s labor which is then transferred to another group to be used for their personal economic needs, which is an immoral use of government force.

John Adams was absolutely correct when he wrote: "democracy will envy all, contend with all, endeavor to pull down all; and when by chance it happens to get the upper hand for a short time, it will be revengeful, bloody, and cruel..."

We are now witnessing what our founders intentionally sought to prevent when they limited our federal government’s authority to such matters as war, peace, the regulation of commerce with foreign nations, i.e., ___ those items which are enumerated beneath Article 1, Section 8, Clause 1, and they do not include the social needs of the people within the various states.

Millions of citizens have lost their health-care insurance and doctors under Obamacare, and many more millions now cannot use Obamacare because of Obamacare’s outrageous premiums and deductibles. Repeal and replace Obamacare with nothing, and repeal McCarran-Ferguson.

Did you read the article? Or just agree because all of the democrats went along? Do you understand that we are a republic and those decisions should be made at state level?

Many people are saying the Senate Republicans were trying to pass this healthcare bill through a process called budget reconciliation, which, among other things, protects the bill from being filibustered in the Senate and only requires a simple majority of 50 votes (rather than 60, which the Republicans don't have).

The thing is, the Senate can only consider one budget reconciliation bill per topic per year. Of course, if the bill dies in committee and never comes to an official vote, it doesn't count- which is why they've been able to keep hammering away at the issue.

This bill, though, was allowed to come to the Senate floor, because the Republicans thought they'd secured the votes. Collins, Murkowski and the Democrats would vote no, everyone else would vote yes, and Pence would break the tie. And then McCain completely f'd them. And it was almost certainly a calculated move; he voted to allow the bill to come to the floor. Had McCain allowed it to die in committee, McConnell could have come back with yet another repeal bill; but he let it come to a vote, and now they can't consider another budget reconciliation bill for the rest of the fiscal year. The Senate needs 60 votes to pass any kind of healthcare reform now.

So now they're caught between a rock and a hard place. Either they concede defeat on the issue and try again later (causing a big, unpopular stink that could damage elections if they try it before the midterms, or risking losing the slim majority they already have if they wait) or they actually sit down with the democrats like adults and write a halfway decent healthcare bill.

That is propaganda feed to you by our Fifth Column, big government liking and Free Cheese eaters.

There is nothing in the Constitution to support that nonsense, and, the "Republicans" control both Houses and their rule making. Have you forgotten how our socialist/progressive Democrats changed the "rules" and adopted what is called the "Nuclear Option" to get their communist nominees approved?

Stop parroting propaganda put out by our Fifth Column media.

Without our Fifth Column Media, Loretta Lynch and a corrupted FBI, Hillary Clinton and Barack Hussein Obama, would be making license tags in a federal penitentiary

That's the bottom line. Sadly, many republicans have values that are similar to those of the anti-liberty left.

Sadder still is the American people now find themselves in a position in which a group of privileged individuals are in control of their healthcare system, and that system does not apply to those privileged few.

Those piece of leftist filth, obama and his supporters, have set the path for the destruction of America, and too many republicans do not have the decency to do anything about it. They're just enjoying the ride.

The affordable healthcare act is not affordable unless you get a subsidy, even then the mandates make it unaffordable. My premiums skyrocketed because my plan didn't meet the criteria. Why do I need neonatal care I'm a 56 year old man. Even before Obamacare my costs were 1000.00 a month for husband and wife, if that plan was still available it would be 1600.00. It would have cost way less to put all the people without insurance on state Medicaid and let the rest of us shop out of state.

There was a time not too long ago in New York when the able-bodied were ashamed to accept home relief, a program created by Franklin D. Roosevelt in 1931 when he was Governor. Now, New York City and many other major cities are infested with countless government cheese factions who not only demand welfare, but use it to buy beer, wine, drugs, sex, and Lotto tickets.

Mitch McConnell open to bipartisan [sell out] plan to keep Obamacare alive

See McConnell to consider bipartisan plan to pay health insurers

”McConnell told reporters Saturday there is "still a chance" the Senate could revive the measure to repeal and replace "Obamacare," but he acknowledged the window for that is rapidly closing.

The Kentucky senator noted Republican Sen. Lamar Alexander of Tennessee is working on "some kind of bipartisan approach" that would involve subsidies for insurance companies.”

Let us not forget Obamacare was carefully crafted to tax hard working American Citizens __who were happy with their health-insurance and doctors___, to subsidize insurance companies so millions of able bodied but unproductive people could receive health-care. And now, Mitch McConnell is willing to continue taxing hard working American Citizens to provide health-care to the able bodied and lazy including illegal entrants, instead of allowing Obamcare to collapse on its own and following our Constitution which nowhere grants a power to Congress to enter the states and meddle in the people's health-care needs and choices.

I wonder how much Mitch McConnell has been paid by the insurance industry to carry water for them.

Obamacare by consent of the governed, Article 5, our Constitution`s amendment process. Tyranny by a majority vote in Congress or a Supreme Court's majority vote

Well, from the lack of any intelligent rebuttal, I think there is universal agreement that the biggest obstacle to repealing Obamacare are the tens of millions who are now receiving government subsidized health-insurance/health-care. The Republican Party Leadership in the House and Senate do not have the backbone to cut off the abled bodied who are too lazy to work enough hours to pay for their own health-insurance/health-care, and they find it easier to tax hard working productive citizens to finance government subsidized cheese ___ even the cheese going to illegal entrants who have invaded America’s borders.
