Fluking off Mantoloking on saturday, capt. of the Norma K 2 sets up less than 100 ft. downwind of me (about 3 miles offshore!!). Barely had time to pull up and get out of his way before drifting into him. What a tool! I strongly discourage anyone from patronizing that fleet...

Keep a camera aboard (50mm or "normal" lens, for proper perspective) and photograph such encroachments. If he sees you taking the pictures, he may get the picture. He has a license to protect (if you can find anyone who cares...)
