northbound ICW

I'm taking a 25 CC from sea-isle to manasquan 1 day this week.

I'd prefer to stay inside on the ICW just in case there is a motor problem.

Has anyone made this trip recently, is the ICW marked well or am I just paranoid and hug the beach on the way up.

From Barnegat Inlet norht to Manasquan it is fairly well marked. As a "rule of thumb, stay to the west side of the Bay.

Take your time and be extra cautious if entering Barnegat Inlet. From the inlet to the bay the channel is narrow and winds a bit. It is important to stay in the channel
