Spent 3 hours trolling from 100' - 600'. Saw a few flying fish but not much else. No birds, no weeds, no schools. My father in law was turning green, so we headed back towards the inlet. I was just about to start pulling the lines when one rod got bit. Little bonita to end the day

I assume your Fla-Da "Bonita" is what we call False Albacore or "Little Tuny" up in NJ...not to be confused with Atlantic Bonito.
That Bonita is known as Katsuo in Japanese Restaurants.... try Katsuo Tataki if you ever see it on the menu!

You can also try doing it at home, here is a good recipe:

you are correct sir. I have tried eating them before. Not as horrible as everyone made them out to be, but still not one of my favorites

They were calling for 5knt winds with seas less than 2'. When we got out there, it was 25knt with 3'-4'. It started to lay down as the day went on

I might have to go drift some baits solo this weekend. Need to put some fish in the box... been a while since the family had a decent fish dinner

The county reefs off fort pierce both the north and south reefs in 55 have had a steady pic of lanes and mangos. However the cudas are there to rip you off. The 90 foot reef line also has been loaded with snapper ,trigger fish, and seabass.

rsouthern jz-(it's a different breed with real hair) catch a fat albert and when you take the hook out--lay on the deck and let someone hold it so the blood runs into your mouth. if they are queezy they will let it rip.or thread tied to a piece of clam or squid--eat some samy and drink some cola then hold it then let it fly--they will also.the good old days.limbeger and crackers leave a nice smell.

Ended up running out on Wednesday and found a shrimp boat on anchor off of Jensen. Pulled right up to his transom and found what we were looking for. three 500 pound bull sharks with a herd of Cobia tagging along. We had our limit in 10 minutes. Had one of the bulls go after one of my Cobia so I opened the bail and gave the Cobia some slack. Cobia went one way and the shark went the other way. The shark lost interest as soon as he saw the Cobia was free to swim.
