Chas, No fish but sounds like you enjoyed yourself. Thats what its all about One of my BEST days on the water was a fishless one.

Tides look good early in the week. Looking over my log I noticed that the weeks 1 and 2 in December have always produced fish.

What kind of bait were you using. I have been doing well with clams this fall. I have tried jigging and eeling with little luck but clams seem to be the ticket.

If you mean sand eels, we had a flounder spit some up last week, but we were fishing the Rips.
