on sunday I'll be hitting the sod banks behind OC for flounder. My game plan is to use a top & bottom rig with a strip of pro-cut and a live killie. I'll be fishing from shore, so I'm limited in that sense, but are there any ways to improve my success? if you don't want to post anything on here, you can email me at

I don't know of any realy good spots, and i usually just find a sod bank and cast away. I usually get 3 or 4 flounder in a day, shorts though. Any particular places I should try?

i fish from a boat but you have access to the 9th street bridge.try fishing the side that has a 4 foot vert clearance. you will be surprised what you may find. i have caught weakies, tog, stripers and some hugh flounder there. try fishing the incoming tide. also try clams and try throwing some metal or plastics. e-mail me for more info.
