I anchor up inside and fish the 9th street O.C.bridges and causeway's with decent success and was wandering is the O.C. toll bridge as productive. Dawn, dusk, dark?
Any info would be appreciated.
Word to the wise, the Coast Guard has been yanking people from fishing that bridge all summer. You can't anchor anywhere near pilings, bridge, etc. Real pain in the ***. Also, as if that was not enough Fish and Game are targeting bass fisherman who use undersized tog as bait. I would say, try the inlet and anchor up on the lee side of the shoals for bass as long as your boat is very stable and the surf is not too high it is very productive using eels or chunking.
