Food places MAKO suggested are good. Crab Alley in West OC is good. If you are closer to North OC, the Crabcake Factory has good food. Both ends of the island have a BJs. BJs on the water is north OC and BJs south on 1st Street. If you go to that one they give you a little historical tour of the inlet on a short boat ride free with dinners finished before 7:45. Nice if you have kids/family. Food is good and inexpensive both places. Bull on The Beach also has good food, more tourists and crowds there. There is one in West OC, one on the boardwalk and one in North OC at 94th Street. The Angler and Marina Deck near the inlet also have good food. Nightlife....The Greene Turtle in North OC is fun. They have DJ/music, sports on TVs and upstairs, gaming area. Seacrets is a meat mkt, but is a neat atmosphere. Cover charge there after 10 is quite a lot. Greene Turtle is a little less touristy, Seacrets is more tourists. BJs bar is a nice laid back place to hang out, not the happening night life, but nice bar. Have fun!
