Overall it was a beautiful weekend, the westerly wind was a little stiffer than forecasted (Surprise:rolleyes:).

But the fishing seemed to be pretty decent overall.
The Bass bite was decent from the tip up to the cove, almost all fish on bunker.

The drum bite was really good on both sides of the Bay.Most guys said that the drum bit in waves, sit for an hour then boom fish coming over the rail for the next hour and then nothing again for the next couple.

But at least we finally had a weekend where anglers were able to get out and enjoy doing what we all love to do,
and some came home with dinner as a bonus!

The Middle Twp 10th annual Drum Tournament was Saturday and Sunday.

1st place - Ginger Lee - Capt. Jason McFarland Total 2 fish weight 143lbs

2nd Place - Little Lady - Capt. Jeremy Cox 119.5 lbs

3rd place - Miss Kate - Capt Tim Shaw 100 lbs

Congrats to all the winners, Great Job!
