3/1 report
Offshore fishing was very good on Friday Feb 29 with most, if not all passengers catching their limit of giant sea bass up to 7.5LBS and a few pollock up to 18LBS mixed in.
We were fishing an area 85 to 90 miles SE of Brielle and a new body of fish has moved in. There was plenty of life around the wrecks we fished and it looks good for upcoming trips.
We have a weather window for Monday March 3 so we are adding a special limited trip sailing between 11:30PM and midnight Sunday night, returning 6:30PM Monday. The fare is $165.00. Call 732-528-5014 for reservations.
Pool winners Friday:
Jimmy Ricardo from Pittstown, NJ with an 18LB pollock,
George Niotis from Roselle Pk, NJ with a 7.5LB sea bass.
A few of the passengers with limit catches:
Mike Vastola from Lavalette, NJ,
Joel Bullard, Silver Spring Maryland caught most of his fish on a jig,
Willie Williams from Beverly, NJ,
Kerwin Singletary from Burlington, NJ
Troy Hawkins from Piscataway, NJ
Fishing should continue to be good on our offshore trips and the Jamaica will continue to sail offshore through April.
We are scheduled to sail offshore every Wednesday, [FONT=Times

i am going to try and go on a trip before the season is over. i was also going to contact you about chartering the boat for a canyon tuna trip in sep. or oct. . I have a group of 15 so far, but getting more shouldn't be a problem since we haven't really asked around yet.
