Fish were a little deeper then i thought they'd be.Usually catch em in 5-10ft this time of year.To my suprise they were at 20-25ft.Mackerel was the bait of choice.

Way to go guys.

Put 7 in the box, must of caught 30.All throw backs were 16". Story of my life, a half inch to short.Good news is biggest keeper was 5 lbs and other keepers were nice fish(3-4lbs.).Six keepers in 15-20 ft. of water along Inland Water Way.1 keeper in shallow 5-7 ft.Caught fish at all tides.Bucktails with minnow and a strip of cut bait.Got the best thrill watching 1 kid on a blue Sailfish CC and 1 on a camo
boat crank in some nice flatties. One benifit of fishing in a crowd. My buddy said "that is worth the price of addmission".I could not have agreed more.I think I like any kid catching as much as I like catching.Nice day out there and a good start.
Good luck to everybody.Oh yea, Avalon Sea Isle area
