just don’t want to post on the open forum what the prices were but like trey said they fluctuate a great deal. Certain days are better markets and around Japanese holidays can influence the price. It is clearly a auction market my best price has been nearly $30 per pound i have heard of some prices below $2 dollars a pound, it is ridiculous to kill a fish for the minimal amount. it is a auction you send the fish not know and hoping for the best. we had a high average a for both our fish in MA. the price per pound usually goes up in nov and dec because many other gbf fisheries in the world have slowed down.
